Toast Floats  Since January 2007, Toast has published a weekly blog nattering about her life as a floating, mother of three. Pretty much every topic even remotely related to the cruising life, homeschool, boats, and parenting is fair game. The blog is gaining a growing subscriber base and has attracted the interest of several sailing magazines. The next step is to start selling articles -- online and print -- and perhaps getting asked aboard for dinner and wine by complete strangers. So we all have dreams. Mine are just a bit simple.
The grand publishing career has not yet materialized. However, early indicators suggest that Toast as a columnist is not an impossible dream. Thus far, she has sold articles to 48° North and Pacific Northwest Yachting. To learn more about her career as a humorist, visit the Toast Floats web site.
